Two faces dominate
and offset a core of curved shapes,
where one face is looking from above
and the other from below. Each has
its own perspective, but does one
trump the other? Or are both views
equally important? From a structural
standpoint, both are needed to keep
the piece in balance. Only in life
is there the absence of equal viewpoints—be between man and woman,
husband and wife, employer and employee,
government and citizen—and that's a travesty.
