Ordering Guidelines

We realize that purchasing original artwork online is different than purchasing it in person and we want you to be comfortable with your purchase and with doing business with us. The below are general business practices only; please know that we appreciate your consideration and are willing to work with you for your business.

1. Please call us to to discuss the piece(s) you are interested in buying or renting.

We will be happy to discuss how the purchase/rent/lease process works, payment options and any other questions you may have. We will go over shipping amounts, delivery dates and addresses, the inspection period and return options.

2. You may wish to receive and review our required documents to help you aid in your decision.

These documents are standard business contracts that outline your responsibilities as the purchaser/renter and our responsibilities as the seller/owner.

As a purchaser of artwork, for example, you are entitled to a record of transfer of ownership in the work as well as documentation as to the authenticity of the work. In all cases (purchaser or renter), you are entitled to written agreed upon conditions, including but not limited to delivery dates and methods, all fees that will be incurred and the ability to return the work in an agreed-upon period of time if you are not satisfied. All these are specified in the contract.

We will gladly email you the appropriate contract for your review. or give us a call at 1 (845) 642-2093 and we will email it to you.

3. Consider your preferred method of payment: personal check, Paypal or Escrow.com.

Personal Check—There are no additional fees associated with the use of a personal check; however, we will delay shipment of the work until your check has cleared our account.

PayPal—Once you are ready to make payment using PayPal, simply follow the instructions on our PayPal page. With PayPal, you can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card) or through your bank account. You do not need to set up your own account to pay with PayPal, you will just use ours. PayPal affords you the security of knowing that any vendor will never see your financial information (i.e., RDHoffmann Studios does not process anything, PayPal does). There are no additional fees with the service.

      Request and Review Necessary Documents (Contract for Sale; Commissioned Work Agreement or Rental/Lease Agreement).
      Choose method of payment (personal check, PayPal or escrow.com).
      We agree on all arrangements.
      We keep you posted on shipping and delivery dates.
      Your money back (less return shipping and any Escrow.com fees) if you are not satisfied.
